For this second part of my assignment, I did struggle a bit with what concepts and what vector shapes to include in
in my beach so i decided to include a small turtle family, a sun and some starfish families. For my sun I used two star shapes
that i then ended up using the curve tool to give the sun a different shape and curvature. Then I used the ellipse tool to include
the circle and played around with the colors and merge them together to be apart of my slogan.
I wanted to make the image a part of a postcard so I used a very typical postcard saying called "Welcome to a Snowy Paradise" and played around with the spacing between the letters,
the fonts and the italics to give the name of the actual made up beach a more emphasized look by having a bolder font and a script font.
For my turtle vector shapes, I used the shape tool and used shapes;rectangle, ellipse and star. Then I shaped the shapes with the curve tool and changed the color of the shapes to green and brown.
Then I rearranged the shapes to be merged and gave my turtles some eyes. Then I duplicated them and added them as a turtle chain by resizing and arranging them as a family. I did the exact same process
for my starfish family by adjuting the curves of the stars with the curve tool and changing the colors of the stars and reshaping them.
LinkedIn Learning: Finally, I arranged all the elements I had made on my illustator page and then I arranged them to be cohesive to the postcard I was trying to portray of my future beach. I used some of the LinkendIn learning skills
to help me arrange and creat ethe shapes I used as well as create multiple layers to have a more organized workspace.
